What is Podcast Transcription?

podcast

Before you understand what Podcast transcription is, you need to know what a podcast is. The term podcast refers to a series of audio or video files that are released as radio or TV talk show episodes and downloaded through web syndication. Podcasts are different from radio or TV talk shows, because you can download these, generally small files, on your computer or player and listen to them as many times as you’d like.

The episodic podcasts are based on a number of topics, like financial podcasts, podcasts based on software and hardware development, web designing and development, digital photography, weight loss, politics, music, movies, religion, gender specific podcasts concentrating on male and female problems, creativity, lovemaking, life, beauty, business, philosophy and many, many more.

How do the podcasters get more and more people to subscribe to them? Well, first, they need to do original, entertaining podcasts, and second, get their podcasts transcribed and put them on their website, thus in turn making their podcasts easily searchable for the topic they’re covering over all the major search engines.

This also helps directing more traffic to their website, since the transcript counts as newly updated website content. So, not only do transcripts help your website visitors, it also helps your SEO (Search engine optimization) efforts!

There are many of us, who don’t have time or the convenience to sit and listen to a whole show, or for some, it’s slower to listen, than to read. Then there are some, who unfortunately are unable to hear. For all these people, podcast producers and publishers have long been getting their podcasts transcribed into text.

ScriptoSphere Audio Transcription Services understands this, and with our experience of over 6 years in podcast transcription, we can proudly say that we are one of the best in the business. We not only turnaround a one hour audio within 2 days, but we also do it at a price, which is not only affordable, but fair.

Since podcasts are usually digitally recorded crystal clear audio, ScriptoSphere offers to transcribe these podcasts for only $0.90 per minute of audio, much lesser than those bigwigs out there, charging astronomical, unbelievable rates, even up to $3 per minute! If you give us a chance, you’d find that not only is our quality better, you’ll also get your job done almost $2.10 lesser per audio minute!!

    Hey what a good job you do there!
    I was thinking it wouldn’t be bad at all to have all the podcasts I’m interested in a, let’s say, archive on my very HDD. And just search there when I need something to get clarified in my mind. Good thing to know! Bye!

    @Mr. Ksawery,

    Sorry I didn’t read this sooner, yes I have a Polish ancestry but it’s only a coincidence, I’m not that actor-whoever he is :) )
    I’m from Bydgoszcz, northern Poland, now working in the US in podcast production – so I got here, searching for an audio transcription company that could help my company have allthe audio files archived. I will also send an email to you with more details, but not right now, in a few days. Have a good day Mr. Franciszek and ScriptoSphere team!
